Berger Realty
Ocean City, NJ neighborhoods
Close to everything: the north end of the boardwalk, the beach and the schools, with a mix of condos, duplexes and single-family homes.
What it's like
The North End runs from North Street, where the boardwalk begins, to about 6th Street. It's an easy walk to the beach, the boardwalk and the Asbury Avenue shops, and Ocean City High School (501 Atlantic Avenue) and the Primary School (550 West Avenue) are both nearby.
Some of Ocean City's oldest blocks are close by. Plaza Place, bordered by 7th Street, Pelham Place and Atlantic and Wayne Avenues, is lined with homes built mostly between 1902 and 1930. Most of what's for sale is condos and duplexes, which makes the North End one of the more approachable ways into the market.
Market figures are from the MLS as of October 2026, rounded, and change daily. Neighborhood boundaries are informal and the MLS areas don't always match them street for street.
We'll send you new North End listings the day they hit, and tell you what we know about each one.
