January 18, 1892 · Ocean City
The lumber schooner J. & H. Scull, bound for Atlantic City, stranded off Ocean City on Jan. 18, 1892. The Ocean City Life Saving Station crew rescued everyone aboard: the captain, mate, two sailors, the cook and his wife. The hull later washed up at the north end of the island.
Every Ocean City home has a story. If you are thinking about buying or selling one, we would love to help.
