The burial marker of Capt. John Jeffries at Scullville Bible Church, near Somers Point, was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Jeffries is linked to the Twenty One Friends, a ship that drifted across the Atlantic without a crew for two years, and the ship is carved on his monument.
